Biography

Rabbi Asher Lemel, the eldest son of Rabbi Tuvia, was appointed Rav of Shendishov when his father moved to Kraków.

He died in 5693 (1933), during his father’s lifetime. His place remains distinct within the main history even though the direct continuation later developed through the American branch.
