For Beis Rebbe
Maamados is directed to the Rebbe’s personal household and private needs. It is not the regular fund of the beis medrash, an institution, a publication, a building or a public campaign.
מעמדות בית רבינו
The longstanding Chassidic partnership in the Rebbe’s personal household—given regularly, entrusted through the Gabbaei HaMaamados, and placed at the Rebbe’s disposal for his personal needs.
וואס מעמדות מיינט
Maamados is directed to the Rebbe’s personal household and private needs. It is not the regular fund of the beis medrash, an institution, a publication, a building or a public campaign.
Its form is steady participation, month after month. The constancy itself expresses the continuing bond and responsibility.
The Gabbaei HaMaamados manage the commitments and bring the Maamados to the Rebbe. They are the correct address for beginning or changing a monthly commitment.
Across generations, Chassidim understood that Beis Rebbe itself is carried by those bound to it. Maamados gave that responsibility a steady form: not an occasional appeal, but a personal share maintained throughout the year.
Its strength is not measured only by the sum collected, but by the widening circle of people who hold a faithful monthly part in Beis Rebbe.
There is no rank in the relationship. A modest amount given faithfully and a large commitment both belong to Maamados Beis Rebbe; neither purchases access, a brachah or a different standing before the Rebbe.
למעשה
Begin with an amount that can remain steady—even $10 or $20 a month is a complete and valued participation.
The gabbaim arrange the monthly route, record the commitment and make sure the Maamados reaches Beis Rebbe in its proper form.
The meaning is in the continuing participation, month after month.
When circumstances change, speak with the gabbaim to adjust, renew or increase the monthly commitment.
Every new monthly kvius strengthens the shared responsibility. A participant may remain entirely private. Where someone expressly wishes to be named, an acknowledgment may be included without publishing the amount or creating levels of honor.
Participation may remain private. A person’s name or amount is not made public merely because he joined.
Maamados is separate from requests for brachah, kabbalas kahal and every other form of access to the Rebbe.
