Monsey is not presented as an independent historical branch. Its importance belongs to the present: families and אנשי שלומינו participate in the continuing life of the court around the Rebbe.
The same people appear through different parts of communal life—at tishen and gatherings, in family occasions, around Torah and publications, and in personal audiences and guidance.
From Monsey to Flatbush
The beis medrash in Flatbush remains the central address. The Monsey ציבור comes into that center for tefillah, tishen, major occasions, and meetings with the Rebbe.
Photographed occasions are presented together with their date, people, and accompanying notice or report, so that each image remains part of its proper story.
Families and occasions
Weddings, bar mitzvahs, visits, and communal gatherings show how the court is carried through families and through the formation of another generation.
